one the best missionary letters I have gotten to date:

November 17th, 2008

On September 29 I sent you a letter, then on November 13th it flippin' came back to me. It's flippin' gay az. It upsets me. It took a freaking month and a half to go nowhere. I'm already on my second companion and I've had five baptisms. My first six weeks here were amazing. If my whole mission was like my first six weeks, I would be so happy. My first companion was so good. He's such an awesome missionary, and it felt really good working with him. Elder Agavale is good too, but sometimes he doesn't like working at the pace Elder Fesolai got me used to.

We had the craziest baptism on Saturday. Our baptizee showed up an hour late, and when they baptized her, she had to be dunked like six times. On round 2 or 3, her dress "rode up" and she became exposed to all. She flashed us. It was really bad. The service was about two hours long, which is way too long. The missionaries had brought an investigator to the baptism, and about an hour and a half into the program, her children got restless, so the Samoan ward Elders Quorum President stood up and started smacking the children with a program. It's really bad when the Elders Quorum President smacks an investigators kids at a baptismal service. It was a great baptism.

Hawaii's rainy now. Honolulu is an ugly city. I haven't seen the pretty part of Hawaii yet. There's so many crazy people. A footless woman told us she sees Jesus at Waikiki Beach all the time. We told her she can see Him again by ordering a free Finding Faith in Christ DVD. She thanked us.

Crap. P-day is over. I never get enough time. Write me a letter. I learned a new word from my New Zeland Companion. The word is az. You put it after an adjective to make it cooler, Like, "That baptism was sweet az," or "The EFY CD is bad az." It used to make me feel uncomfortable because it sounds like a crude synonym for bum, but now I say it without reservation. I'll write more next time if you write back.
It'll be sweet az.
Love Trevor

I think he az a problem. I'm pretty sure I used az wrong, but it makes more sense to me like that. but yes, super cute letter. He sounds like a hyper sp-az.
