that's how long I have to plan my wedding, which will be on October 10th.
If you're thinking, "why so soon?"
this is why: we don't want to get married in the winter, and we don't want to wait for spring, and in the words of Billy Crystal: when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to begin as soon as possible
But because this wedding is CRAZY fast, I've been CRAZY hectic. Here is what yesterday looked like:
730am: I wake up because I haven't
really slept since I've been engaged.
800am: I shower and get dressed etc.
840am: after calling and calling my fiancé, I realize that he is not actually awake for our 900am appointment for house tour, and leave to go get him.
850am: cram down a bowl of cherrios while I wait for him to wash his face.
900am-1130am: Drive around looking at houses. Find one we LOVE and beg the people to let us have their contracts.
1130am-1230pm: my first hour of work at the law school.
1230pm-130pm: we look at one more house, eat a hot dog, and rush to a fabric store.
130pm-330pm: my second half of work at the law school.
330pm-400pm: what? a break!
400pm-730pm: my shift at the Mtc.
730pm-800pm: showered and ate some chips
800pm-1000pm: went to the Pitchers for Noelle's birthday and finally got to eat some dinner. (I also got some sweet gifts from Camille too. I LOVE them.)
1000pm-1230am: planned my wedding with the Pitchers.
1230am-130am: responding to emails, talking to mary, etc.
This is too much.
GAH
Good thing I happen to LOVE planning a wedding, and I have a wonderful, insanely involved and helpful finacé. (Not to mention Mary, Sophie and my Mom. Thanks for keeping me sane.)
I'll try to find a spare moment to write again soon.
Oh, and if anyone wants to take pictures for us sometime soon, we'd love you forever. We want a couple different people to take engagement photos, and so far we have Lisa, Brooke, and maybe Maude lined up.
